I started my academic career at Gothenburg University, where I later gained my PhD in 2003. I did my post-doc research at Cancer Research UK, and joined AstraZeneca in 2006 in the Safety Assessment department. I continued my career at AstraZeneca in Medical Communications, before moving to Gothenburg as a Clinical Project Manager. There, I later became Associate Director in Clinical Operations. Subsequently, I worked as a Project Leader in early development and Global 产品介绍 Manager for late stage development before becoming Director for a key cardiorenal and metabolic program.
Being part of a leading late stage project management organisation at AstraZeneca is an opportunity for me to grow as a project leader. Global collaborations offer new opportunities for treatments in well-known therapy areas. Our vision of creating paradigm shifts in the treatments of Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic diseases really challenges us as professionals, provides an inspiring outlook on the future of meeting unmet medical needs. That´s why I am part of it all.
In 2012, I received the Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate, focusing on project leadership and process development. In addition, I gained the Project Management Professional Certificate and in 2015 I joined AstraZeneca’s Optimizing Drug Development team. Here, I led workstreams to improve the drug submission process and recently led educational activities in Ideas to Patient, a programme for internal talents to become drug development experts.
